Statement from the Board of Commissioners

On Thursday, October 29, 2020, the Board of Commissioners was informed of two (2) new cases of COVID-19.  These cases include one (1) male juvenile (under 10 years old) and one (1) male in his 10s (between 10-19 years old).

Our Borough total is now 139 cases since the outset of the pandemic. The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases within Camden County is now 12,425.  Because the County as a whole is experiencing an increase in cases, we are urging residents to continue washing their hands frequently, wearing masks whenever possible, and remaining at least 6 feet apart from non-household members.  We also encourage everyone to avoid large gatherings and to cooperate with contact tracers if/when you are contacted. These behaviors will be critical to limiting the spread of the novel coronavirus, particularly over Halloween weekend and the upcoming holiday season.
