Fire Department

The Haddonfield Fire Department is responsible for protecting life and property, fire prevention, and Emergency Medical services in the Borough. The Department is comprised of Borough Employees, including the Fire Chief, Fire Official, Fire Inspector, and EMTs. In addition to these Borough staff members, firefighting operations are conducted by the volunteer members of Haddon Fire Company No. 1. 

Haddon Fire Company No. 1 is the second oldest Fire Department in the United States. The Borough has implemented a 24/7 volunteer Stipend Program designed to provide expedited response times to the community.
