Practical Movement for Seniors - Fridays 10:30-11:15am

2nd floor, accessible by both stairs and elevator
$1 for Haddonfield residents/$2 non-residents

 A class dedicated to the overall wellness for our bodies as we age, this Wellness for Seniors class will address issues such as mobility, strength and balance.  Designed to address the issues most concerning our Seniors, we will include exercises that can accommodate any level of fitness.  Each class will include movement that can be performed in a seated or standing position, depending on comfort.  

 We will incorporate breathing patterns to increase lung function, mobilization exercises to increase flexibility, and standing exercises to address balance issues.  Every class is gentle in nature and welcomes all levels of participation.  Our specialized trainers have developed a class for Seniors that can offer: 


  • Straighter posture
  • Improved strength and stamina
  • Increased concentration
  • Relief from arthritis and stiff joints
  • More restful sleep
  • Improved circulation
  • Greater sense of well being

*If there is a particular issue you wish to address in class, please do not hesitate to ask.  For example, if you would like attention on hand strength or hip opening, please ask your instructor and we will be sure to include this in a future class.
