Mayor Tish Colombi joins Christ the King principal Dr. Claudio Cerullo and some of his students as they kick-off Haddonfield's Red Ribbon Week celebration.  Red Ribbon Week is a national recognition of the dangers of drug and alcohol use and abuse.  To demonstrate Haddonfield's commitment to the awareness of this problem, red ribbons now adorn the lamp posts downtown and posters, similar to the ones being held by the students, can be found in the windows of businesses throughout the Borough.

As a supplement to the health education of First and Fourth graders, Haddonfield’s Municipal Alliance provided coloring and activities books.  Delivered to Central, Elizabeth Haddon and Tatem schools shortly before spring break, the books were successfully integrated and well received.  We are proud to announce the program will be repeated for the coming school year.

Tatem's School Nurse, Beth Herrera leads her first grade Health class.  The boys and girls learned ' a drug is any substance, except food, that affects the way your mind and body works'. First grader at Tatem shows his work.  Fourth graders from Lizzie Haddon worked with school nurse, Loretta Macconi, to identify and understand drugs.  A fourth grade class proudly displays their Information and Activities book.
