REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
BOROUGH AUDITOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposals and qualifications are being solicited by the Borough of Haddonfield for “BOROUGH AUDITOR” Services.  This is a competitive contracting process.  Individuals or firms responding to this Request for Proposal should have extensive experience, a knowledgeable background and qualifications in the provision of the services described.

The RFP package for this service is available in Room 101 of Municipal Hall, Borough of Haddonfield, 242 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ 08033 during regular business hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm).

Interested respondents shall submit one (1) original; and five (5) bound copies of their proposal; and one (1) unbound copy for further copying (if necessary).

The Borough requires that the RFP response be submitted by Wednesday, July 9, 2008 prior to 3:00 p.m.  There will be a public reading of the names and respective cost proposals at 3:00 p.m. on July 9, 2008 in Room 102 of the Municipal Hall.

Bid Packet for Borough Auditor

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough Clerk, for the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Haddonfield, a municipal corporation in the County of Camden and State of New Jersey, on Tuesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time at the Borough of Haddonfield, Room 102 at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:
“PAINTING OF BOROUGH HALL”

Bid packets, including instructions and specifications, are available in Room 101 of Municipal Hall, Borough of Haddonfield, 242 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ, 08033.  The bids are to be received in Room 101, either in person or by mail, prior to bid opening. 

Bids must be submitted on standard form, available with the specifications.  Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and shall be marked on the outside for “PAINTING OF BOROUGH HALL.”

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Haddonfield for the Kings Court Plaza Reconstruction.

Bid forms, contracts and specifications are on file at the office of Remington and Vernick Engineers, 232 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, New Jersey 08033.  Bidders may obtain copies of Bidding Documents, including instructions and specifications, from Remington & Vernick Engineers upon payment of the sum of $50.00 for each set, which will not be refunded.

Bids for the above listed Contract will be received by the Borough Clerk in Room 102 at Haddonfield Borough Hall, 242 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, New Jersey 08033 on July 22, 2008 until 10:00 a.m., local time, and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.  NO BIDS ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF AT THE ENGINEER’S OFFICE.

Bids shall be made on the Form of Proposal provided.  Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and marked “Kings Court Plaza Reconstruction”.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Borough of Haddonfield in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount but in no case in excess of $20,000.  Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions.  Bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Affirmative Action) and other information required as shown in the bid packet.
